equivalent既可以做形容词，也可以做名词。

名词：在价值，数量，功能及意思上相等的人或事，通常使用equivalent of STH.

equivalent to是一个习惯用语，意思是有相同或类似的作用或效果。在纽约时报网站进行搜索，共有64400条结果。

equivalent with不是一个习惯用语，在纽约时报网站进行搜索，只有78条结果。

enough to equal的表达中，一般to后面接动词，euqal做动词的意思相同，相等。

下面看看这个题目：
